3M Austin Center's 1.2 million sq. ft houses laboratories, marketing and sales for the 3M Electro and Communications Business – a group of related business units including the Electronic Solutions Division. Austin Center is the only multi-division facility outside of 3M's headquarters in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Canoga Park, California
The newest addition to 3M’s microinterconnect manufacturing locations, Canoga Park was acquired from the Siemens Ultrasound Division in December, 2005. This 25,000 square foot (2,323 square meters) facility specializes in flexible custom circuits.

At approximately 580,000 square feet (52,200 square meters), this facility is one of the largest flex circuit manufacturing plants in the world. The Woodlands Plant location gives 3M greater access to the vital Asian flex circuit market.
