Using CRTs, LCDs and notebook computers outdoors or in any high-brightness areas can cause their displays to become washed out and difficult to view. Vikuiti™ light control film improves the viewability of these displays in sunlight and high ambient light conditions.

Vikuiti light control film works by managing viewing angles or blocking external light from your display using micro-louvers, which help achieve increased levels of contrast and viewability. In addition to contrast enhancement, light control films can also serve as privacy filters.

Vikuiti LCF films are available with a hardcoat for improved robustness and a matte front surface for improved glare control. They can be laminated in place, mechanically attached or used as free-floating films.
