Anti-Reflection Films
All surfaces reflect light to some extent. Window glass, for example, reflects 4 percent of incident light. Although it may seem like a small proportion, even 4 percent of the sun's light is bright enough to cause severe glare and impair the readability of an electronic display.

There are several ways to reduce or eliminate unwanted glare on electronic displays. Anti-glare films, for example, incorporate a special roughened surface. When external light is reflected on this surface light is scattered across many different angles, giving the appearance of reduced reflection. Anti-reflection films take a different approach and actually reduce the magnitude of the reflection by passing the light through specially engineered thin layers that reduce the amount of reflection, not just scatter it.
Vikuiti anti-reflection films reduce reflection to less than 1.1 percent and increase transmission of light at air/optical surface interfaces. This increases contrast ratio in displays and increases transmission through windows. In addition to this optical engineering, Vikuiti AR films incorporate a low surface energy top layer, creating an easy-to-clean surface.
Vikuiti anti-reflection films are available with or without a clear permanent or removable pressure sensitive adhesive and come in a number of different sheet sizes.
