A Web and client-based software application designed to seamlessly integrate secure serialization into label or package printing, production and distribution facilities.
- Codes are securely generated in a central and secure database, sent to the requesting printing facility and applied to a product, label, or package.
- Codes may be random, sequential, EPCglobal, or imported from existing sources (e.g. UID’s on RFID chips), and can be applied in human readable text, various forms of bar codes, RFID tags or in materials security.
- Codes can be associated in layers of "parent-child" relationships and any type or amount of data can be added and associated with codes thereafter including information on materials security included on the product.
This Web-based application authenticates codes and retrieves data created by Secure Code Control® application and any materials security included in the product, label or packaging. VeriSure!® also enables the initial real time management of detected and unauthorized events.
- Authenticate singly or in large volume using computers, PDA’s, cell phones, scan tunnels, via a manufacturer-branded website, call center, or without human intervention, using direct standards-based machine integration.
- Business rules defined by each brand owner dictates how the solution operates from code authentication, incident detection and response to reporting.
This Web application provides real time tracking, tracing, reports and alerts generated to monitor and inform the brand owner on all use of VeriSure!®.
- Code authentication activity via VeriSure!® is constantly logged, analyzed, monitored and organized into configurable reports available on an ad-hoc or scheduled basis.
- A real time snapshot into the activity and results of the solution is available 24 hours a day.
- Brand owners can access VeriTrack!® via the Internet and reports can be electronically distributed.
The 3M / Verify Brand solution includes all product and service capabilities necessary to enable a complete electronic product authentication system using serialization and materials security.
- Verify Brand and 3M can provide these capabilities as either a hosted service or products with ongoing software maintenance.
- Solution can be tailored to protect anything from individual product lines to enterprise-wide product portfolios on a global basis
- Solution is compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements (CFR 21 - Part 11 and Part 820, ANSI/ISO/ASQ 9001:2000, EPCglobal) and is easily integrated with brand owners' current processes and systems.
1. Sample Label: A sample security label (see below) is provided which includes a Verify Brand Secure Verification Code in human readable text and 2D data matrix barcode. These labels were produced using Verify Brand’s Secure Code Control®.
2. Demo Website: Demo site is intended to provide a sample of product capabilities. VeriSure!® and VeriTrack!® are customized and expanded to meet customer specific requirements based on a variety of configurable business rules.
