3M™ Anti-static Plastic Reels are injection molded reels which can help protect components packaged in punched carrier tapes or embossed carrier tapes such as 3M™ Non-Conductive Polycarbonate Carrier 2703 and 3M™ Conductive Polycarbonate Carrier 3000. 3M Anti-static Plastic Reels have solid flanges with a generous aperture in the tape slot area to facilitate threading and uniquely ample areas for label application. The tape start slot on all 3M™ Plastic Reel 6000 Series varies according to the width of the carrier tape being used to help ease the release of the carrier tape from the slot at the end of reel during use on pick-and-place equipment, an industry requirement.
