3M™ Scotchpak™ Backings
Designed specifically for transdermal drug delivery systems, 3M Scotchpak backings continue to evolve to meet current needs. The unique construction of these polyester-based laminates allows different films to be combined into a single web. No solvents or adhesives are used in this proprietary process, minimizing the potential for drug and/or excipient interactions.
Due to their excellent occlusive and barrier properties, Scotchpak™ backings are often used in liquid reservoir and drug-in-adhesive transdermal systems. These laminate films are conformable and flexible to enhance patient comfort.
