Novel Injectable Formulations

Novel formulations allow for localization of a drug’s effects, improving vaccine efficacy
Prodrugs of IRMs show limited systemic exposure and cytokine release
These compounds show enhanced adjuvant action as measured by increased CTL and Th1 activation
Formulating IRMs to give depot effect also enhances vaccine efficacy and systemic tolerability
