Suggested Heat Seal Conditions

Seal strength is affected by temperature, pressure and dwell time. The types of plastic, flange design and seal surface cleanliness also contribute to the quality of the seal strength. The best appearance and performance are obtained at the lowest temperature that produces satisfactory seal strength.

Suggested Heat-Seal Conditions:

225 - 375 F (107 - 190 C) 0.2 - 2.0 seconds 40 - 60 psi
