3M Logo Relationships

The 3M logo can be used in one of three ways:

	Endorsed Relationship Use the logo as an endorsement for most applications. Applications include: Literature Advertising Presentations Trade shows Strategic brand communications Strategic brand packaging

	Branded Relationship Use the branded relationship when 3M is the primary brand of a product, trademark or service. Set the text flush-left below the logo. Applications include: Packaging Branded merchandise Newsletter mastheads

	3M Logo Only Use the 3M logo only when no specific brands, products or services are being promoted. The 3M logo alone represents the company “voice” and identifies the object, communication or media as representing 3M as a whole. Applications include: Stationery Signage Branded merchandise Fleet vehicles 3M.com
