On glass doors, signage indicates the department or facility function.

All signage requests -- including acquisitions and mergers -- must go through 3M Facilities Management, 651-736-4720, Building 0225-01-N-05, St. Paul, Minnesota (for both United States and international locations).

Standards


  • 3M logo (in 3M Red) should be placed on the door at approximately eye level.
  • The logo should be a full “M” height away from the edge of the door.
  • If the logo is used alone, center the logo on the door as shown, or place it appropriately for the particular door style.

  • A group or division name can appear in black or white Helvetica Neue Condensed stacked beneath the logo, separated by a space equal the full height of the “M.”
