3M Scotchpak translucent high barrier films are polyester (PET) base films with a heat-sealable polyolefin layer. These films contain a ceramic oxide coating (AIOx) which provides a strong barrier to moisture and oxygen. UV blocking without the use of metal foils is a characteristic in this film family. 3M high barrier films are adhesive-free, translucent films that provide high-strength seals to a variety of surfaces. These films can be used for moisture and oxygen sensitive products that require high barrier properties and also product visibility.
