3M Vietnam Limited, a wholly-owned 3M company, was established in December 1994 in Ho Chi Minh City as our 61st international company. The company is licensed to conduct business in the following areas: electrical distribution, telecommunications, medical, dental, graphics, automotive care/finishing and traffic control materials. All other 3M products are serviced via our Representative Office (same address) with support from 3M Singapore. Future expansion is projected for 1998 and 1999. Licensed products require a manufacturing, processing or assembly process based on Vietnam Investment Laws.
