Oral hygiene is an important aspect of orthodontic treatment. The American Dental Association lists "active orthodontic treatment" as a risk factor for cavities,1 and studies show that poor oral hygiene can significantly increase orthodontic treatment time.2 To help reduce the time you spend educating patients on oral hygiene and improve patient understanding and compliance, 3M Unitek has partnered with Crest® and Oral-B® to provide a comprehensive guide to brushing with braces.

Brushing with Braces complements in-office hygiene instruction with step-by-step videos, tips, and tricks. It is an excellent resource to share with patients during your consultations, after bonding, and on your website and social media sites.

There are two versions of Brushing with Braces; one at HiddenBraces.com/Brushing focused on lingual braces with Incognito™ Hidden Braces, and the other at 3MBraces.com/Brushing focused on labial braces with Clarity™ ADVANCED Ceramic Braces.
