3M™ Detection Tags

Specially designed for libraries, 3M's RF detection tags help provide effective protection for your collection. Available in a variety of types and styles, they can be used safely on virtually all materials and equipment. These are paper-thin adhesive labels that are easy to apply. RF Tags are a cost effective security solution. These tags can also be disguised with standard or customized messages and they are also guranteed for the life of the item to which it is affixed.

Plain Paper RF Tag

Designed for use under or in a book pocket for discreet protection.

Date Due RF Tag

Provides protection and is used to communicate date due of the item. Is often used with a mini-tab for detuning of the RF tag.

Bar Code RF Tag

A non-scannable (faux) barcode which resembles a standard barcode that would be used with the library’s ILS, helps to disguise the RF tag.

For Reference RF Tag

Used to protect non-circulating items while camouflaging the RF Tag.

Plain Melinex* RF Tag

Made of more durable material than the Plain Paper RF tag and provides easy release of adhesive backed tag.
