Reducing Packaging Waste

3M Package Engineering focuses on the environmental and cost benefits of reduced packaging for 3M, our customers and the planet. Sustainable packaging design is an integral part of our Life Cycle Management process.

3M works to reduce the environmental impact of its product packaging through redesign, reduction, reuse, recyclability, increasing recycled content, and improving cube utilization. The results include reduced energy use to process packaging materials, reduced transport costs and emissions and less storage and disposal space requirements.

Post-it Cabinet Pack

Post-it Note Cabinet Packs

The Post-it note cabinet pack provides a waste reduction solution for the office.

The cabinet pack, a bulk cube dispenser of 16 or 24 Post-it note pads, provides convenient storage and a reduced impact on the environment. The pack sleeve is made from 100 percent recycled paper with restricted ink use and there is no individual plastic wrapping of pads in the sleeve.
