Product Information:

An intumescent firestopping wrap strip that is precut for nominal plastic pipe sizes of 2-inch, 3-inch, and 4-inch (50.8 mm, 76.2 mm and 101.6 mm).

3M™ Fire Barrier Tuck-In Wrap Strips are easily pushed into the opening around PVC pipes to provide up to a 3 hour fire rating through Engineered primarily for top-side firestop installations, this product helps eliminate the need for retaining collars, concrete screws, ladders and most other material and equipment necessary for bottom-side installations. Designed to help prevent the passage of fire, smoke and noxious gas through fire-rated wall or floor assemblies.

    • Typical Applications:

    Ideal for use when firestopping through penetrations in fire-rated concrete floor assemblies. The wrap strips also have the ability to be used within concrete and gypsum wallboard assemblies. Current non-metallic listed applications include PVC, ccPVC and FRPP piping systems.
