Dyneon™ Base Resistant Elastomers (BREs) offer improved resistance to basic (high pH) environments. The chemical structure of Dyneon BREs makes them resistant to attack by basic chemicals such as amines, helping to prevent seal hardening and cracking and extend seal life.
