Dyneon to Acquire Empore™ Solid Phase Extraction Family of Products

Oakdale, Minn. - (January 01, 2007)— Dyneon LLC, a 3M company and one of the world's leading fluoropolymer producers, recently announced that it will acquire 3M's Bioanalytical Technologies business including the Empore™ Solid Phase Extraction family of products, effective January 1, 2007. The Bioanalytical Technologies business and Empore products will be integrated into Dyneon and will augment Dyneon's fluoroplastics, fluoroelastomers and specialty additives lines, and provide new opportunities for growth for the Empore family of products.

Chemtech Specialties is a major chemical distributor with headquarters and warehouse facilities in Philadelphia, PA. A subsidiary of Brenntag North America, this distributor serves customers across the northeastern United States.
