Dyneon LLC, names Robert M. Moore as U.S. Business Director


OAKDALE, Minn. – April 27, 2009 – Dyneon LLC, a 3M company and one of the world's leading fluoropolymer suppliers, announces the appointment of Robert M. Moore as U.S. Business Director.

Moore's appointment reinforces Dyneon's commitment to focus on new product growth and bring these new products to the US fluoropolymer industry. In his new role he will lead the US sales, marketing and technical teams. Moore is based at the company's headquarters in Oakdale, Minnesota reporting to Netha N. Johnson, Dyneon's President and General Manager.

"Much is made of the situation that markets outside the US are growing rapidly, but the fact remains that the US continues to be the world's largest single market for fluoropolymers. We are committed to serve our customers with superior people, products and service," said Moore.

Moore joined Dyneon in 1996, when the company was formed through a 3M Company - Hoechst AG joint venture. Before joining Dyneon, Moore held management positions within Hoechst Celanese Company, Harte-Hanks Communications, Inc. and the Chicago Tribune Company. He holds a bachelor degree in economics from Loyola University, Chicago.
