Protecting 3M's Reputation and Assets

3M’s reputation is earned every day – in all of our locations by all of our people. Our reputation is the result of our products performing as we say they will perform, keeping our promises to our customers and holding to the highest standards of financial and business integrity. People must have confidence in the accuracy and thoroughness of 3M’s accounting and reporting systems. At the same time, we must protect 3M’s assets--physical property, equipment, trademarks, intellectual property, electronic files and confidential information. We cannot allow our stewardship of these assets to be influenced by personal, family or other outside interests that may conflict with 3M’s best interests.
