Bonding Non-Structural

For door and component assembly, 3M non-structural adhesive products typically bond non-load bearing components such as veneer and gasketing. Continuous contact between mating surfaces effectively bonds and seals.

3M™ Scotch-Grip™ Plastic Adhesive
3M Scotch-Grip Plastic Adhesive 1099 bonds plastic to itself or wood in about 40 minutes for a high shear strength bond that resists weathering, water, oil, and plasticizers. Can be heat cured for faster production, very low VOC formulation.

3M™ Jet-melt™ Adhesive
3M™ Jet-melt™ Adhesive are 100% solids thermoplastic resin that become fluid when heated, quickly wet the bonding surface, and harden in seconds to bonding strength. 3M Jet-melt Adhesive 3738 features high deliver rate and long bonding range to meet production requirements for bonding wood.

3M™ Adhesive Tranfer Tape
3M Transfer Tape is a roll with pressure sensitive adhesive on a release liner. When pressed adhesive side down to the back of a foam gasket, name plate or other surface, the adhesive grips immediately. Liner protects adhesive until ready for use. When the liner is peeled off, the adhesive "transfers" from the liner to the substrate, ready to bond.
3M™ Scotch-Grip™ Contact Adhesive
3M Scotch-Grip Contact Adhesive 5 bonds wood, laminate and other substrates with  rapid strength build-up to a heat and creep resistant bond. Thin liquid consistency for spraying.
