The near-surface marker is ideal for marking underground utilities at distance of up to 3' (0.9 meters). Markers provide accurate identification of buried utility lines, helping to reduce the risk of accidently excavating other buried facilities. The near-surface markers small cylindrical shape and allows for easy installation after the asset has been buried.
iD Markers can be programmed to include customer-specific information, such as the facility owner, conduit size, placement date, and other important details. This information can be accessed and changed by 3M locators with the iD function. This can all be done without the need for an external power connection.
