3M™ Scotchkote™ Pipe Renewal Liner 2400 is a globally approvable fast-cure polyurea lining solution used in trenchless potable water pipe rehabilitation. Designed for use on 4" (100mm) to 24" (610mm) diameter pipes, it has regulatory approval for contact with drinking water in 19 countries. This product can be applied as a non-structural corrosioncoating (BS EN ISO 11295:2010 class D/AWWA class I), semi-structural (BS EN ISO 11295:2010 class B), or AWWA Class IV rehabilitation solution meeting the material properties of ASTM 1216-09 after 50 years1. Scotchkote Liner 2400 helps to improve water quality, and helps to repair cracks, leaks, pin holes and corrosion pitting. This helps to improve service life without replacing the pipe.
13M used the following test methods to test mthods to validate: ASTM D638-08, ASTM D790-07, ASTM D2990-08 and ASTM D1599-99.
