3M™ Tamper-Evident Temporary Tags

3M innovation solves another Motor Vehicle Agency challenge with 3M™ Tamper-Evident Temporary Tags.
How to apply the tag

  1. Make sure tag area surface is thoroughly cleaned.
  2. Gently peel the tag away from the backing material.
  3. Carefully position the tag on the window, bumper, or license plate area, according to the requirements of your state. The tag cannot be repositioned once it's placed.
  4. Rub the tag firmly, starting from the center to eliminate air bubbles.
  5. For optimum adhesion, temperatures should be between 40°F (4.5°C) and 110°F (43°C).
 
How to remove the tag and adhesive

To remove 3M™ Tamper-Evident Temporary Tags, simply peel up one corner and pull the sticker away from the adhesive. A tamper-evident checkerboard pattern, which is imbedded into the adhesive, will remain on the vehicle.

To remove 3M's special stretch-release adhesive, first tease it away from the surface and then, gathering it as you go, pull it off in one direction. No tools or solvents needed!
