Today 3M Touch Systems, Inc. and Quanta Computer began showcasing 3M touch technologies designed for consumer electronics platforms to select customers and media at the 30th annual Computex Taipei show. The two companies also announced an expanded collaboration on touch systems, targeting consumer products. No financial details were disclosed.
Recently, 3M specifically developed touch technology for Quanta Computer's notebook and netbook platforms. Based in Taiwan, Quanta Computer is a leading notebook computer original design manufacturer with a reputation for high-quality platforms.
