The 8425-BPL unit is similar to the 8425 Fiber Distribution Unit with an extended back panel that can accommodate up to three 3M™ Splice Trays 2524 to hold up to a maximum of 72 mechanical or fusion splices.
The unit is shipped with one 3M™ Fiber Optic Splice Tray 2524. Built with security in mind, the unit comes with front and rear locks and keys.
The 8400 series rack mount units are designed to allow for flexible upgrades, customized applications and future expansion. The units can be mounted on either a 19" or 23" rack and no tools are needed to enter the rear compartments. The rack mount units are composed of galvanized steel, providing for a rugged and durable construction.
The 8430 series wall mount units provide excellent cable management in low to medium fiber count installation. The units are designed to work in wall-mounted building entrances and network applications.
This fiber distribution unit is provided empty. Adapter plates with various connector styles are available as separate items.
