History of 3M Springfield

3M Springfield began operations in 1967. In that time, the plant has been a part of a number of 3M businesses, although we have never strayed too far from our adhesive and tape manufacturing roots. The plant currently has 330,000 sq ft under roof on 31 acres. We support making more than 1,500 finished goods. We recently completed 1 expansion and plans are underway to install additional coating capacity-targeting completion in mid-2008.
