About this Webcast
This program is designed to inform health care workers who use adhesive products, how they can reduce skin irritations or injuries using a methodical approach, called S.P.A.R.E. By thoroughly assessing:
Your patient's skin health
Your available adhesive products
Your techniques
and by applying what you learn in this program, you may see improvement in your patient's skin health. The program is 55 minutes in length.
Learning Objectives
Refresh your knowledge of general skin anatomy and adhesive properties.
Define S.P.A.R.E. and list the considerations related to each letter of the S.P.A.R.E. acronym.
Demonstrate the appropriate techniques for applying and removing adhesive film dressings.
