Callus

Callus Clinical Condition:

Callus occurs on the feet, elbows and parts of the hands due to repeated pressure, for example, improperly fitting shoes.

Note: Do not cut, shave or file callus on the feet of a diabetic, the elderly or persons suspected of having arterial insufficiency. Foot care should be provided by a podiatrist or person specializing in foot care. Orthotic shoes may be indicated for diabetic feet.
