Capability:
The Phototool Coater can coat phototools up to 32 inches wide. The average cycle time is 2-1/2 minutes for a single tool. Multiple tools may be fed for an average cycle time of 1-1/2 minutes.

Environment:
The Phototool Coater should be placed in a clean room for best results. Relative humidity should be maintained between 40% and 60%. The SCOTCHGARD™ Phototool Protector solution should be stored in an area with a temperature between 68° and 80° F.

Machine Dimensions/Weight:
The Phototool Coater has an overall dimension of 53" wide by 112" long by 58" high. The unit weight is approximately 800 pounds.

Suggested Room Size:
The minimum recommended room size is 8'-5" by 14'-4". A minimum of 3 feet of clearance is recommended at the front of the Phototool Coater. A minimum of 2 feet of clearance is recommended on all other sides.

Power:
The power requirement for the Phototool Coater is 220VAC, single phase, 50/60 Hz, 10 amps.

Ventilation:
Ventilation consists of a four inch tube which should be vented to the outside. The exhaust fan on the unit is rated at 250 cubic feet per minute. Fan and tubing provided by 3M.

Supplies:
The coating solution is SCOTCHGARD™ Phototool Protector from 3M. It is packaged in gallon bottles with four to a case. The customer is required to provide lint-free wipes and methyl alcohol for clean-up of the machine. The customer is also required to provide heptane for cleaning the films prior to coating.
