With favorable environmental, health and safety properties, 3M™ Novec™ Engineered Fluids are a long-term, sustainable solution for heat transfer applications.

3M™ Novec™ Engineered Fluids are available in a range of thermophysical properties to support a variety of applications. Novec fluids are used in systems ranging from thermal test of electronic components, immersion cooling of computers or power electronics, working fluids for Organic Rankine Cycle systems, freeze-drying of pharmaceuticals, and cooling of military systems. 3M experts are available to help select and test the right thermal management fluid to improve system performance, reliability, address environmental concerns, and lower overall operating costs.

Novec fluids have excellent properties for heat transfer applications:

Excellent dielectric properties
Wide range of boiling points
Good materials compatibility

Novec fluids require little maintenance and offer dependable performance. They have high resistivity and will not damage electronic equipment or integrated circuits in the event of a leak or other failure.
