3M™ Petrifilm™ Plate Reader

The 3M™ Petrifilm™ Plate Reader provides consistent, automated reading and recording of results of 3M™ Petrifilm™ Plates (Aerobic, Coliform, E. coli/Coliform Count and Select E.coli) in 4 seconds, thereby increasing productivity, reducing costs and eliminating variation between lab techs.

The 3M™ Petrifilm™ Plate Reader reads four 3M™ Petrifilm™ Plates (Aerobic Count, Coliform Count, and E. coli/Coliform Count) in 4 seconds. The included software displays results and color images of the plate on the computer screen, marking the colonies for easy verification.

Automatic data storage
The 3M Petrifilm Plate Reader automatically exports sample results into a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. The included 3M software also creates an uneditable log file which provides a historical record of data for audit purposes and enables FDA 21CFR Part 11 compliance. The log file can also be saved in text format to enable easy exporting to a LIMS or other external database.
