Transparency Films Warranty and Limitation of Liability:
3M Company warrants this transparency product against defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and storage conditions for a period of one year from date of purchase. In the event this product is found to be defective within the warranty period, 3M will replace or refund the purchase price of the product at its option. Like other dyes, the dyes used in transparency film may change with time, therefore, the film will not be replaced because of, or warranted against, any change in color. Notification of any defect must be given immediately to your local 3M authorized dealer along with original packaging. This warranty shall not apply if shown by 3M Company that the defect was caused by improper storage or misuse.
EXCEPT AS PROHIBITED BY LAW, 3M COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE IN EITHER TORT OR CONTRACT FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE, DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF MISUSE OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
