Superabrasive Wheels are composed of diamond or CBN abrasive bonded to a wheel shaped core. Common applications include CNC tool grinding, centerless grinding, O.D./I.D. grinding, insert grinding and surface grinding of hard-to-grind materials. Available in a wide variety of bonds, wheel shapes and sizes, and grit sizes.

Brazed wheels consist of a single layer of abrasive chemically attached to a steel core, allowing grain spacing and placement control. Excellent choice for form grinding and other heavy stock removal applications. Do not require dressing.

Polyimide resin wheels are designed to provide high cut rates; use in wet grinding applications with high volume flood coolant systems. For heavy stock removal where superior form retention is desired. Requires higher HP grinding equipment.

Resin bond wheels are designed for fast and cool cutting. They perform well in both wet and dry grinding applications.

Vitrified wheels feature a ceramic bond with the better characteristics of both resin and metal bonds. Their dressibility makes them particularly suited for form grinding applications on automatic equipment.
