CX Mill Roll

The 3M CX Mill Roll is a patented roll design developed in 1998. The CX Mill Roll was originally designed to apply chromic acid passivation solutions to zinc coated steel. The CX Mill Roll has since also shown exceptional ability to wring pickling acids, cleaning caustics, and other exotic chemicals.

The CX Mill Roll is 3M's chemical fluid control roll and is available in two densities. Use the less dense roll for applying fluids to the metal's surface and the more dense roll for wringing, or removing, fluids from the metal's surface.

Excessive pressure beyond specifications

* This temperature is considered the maximum requirement for the roll as of today during product development. 3M Mill Roll technical representatives must be consulted about applications exceeding this maximum temperature.
