Designed to monitor exposure to steam and EO conditions in a pack. Provides a visual color change to verify that the sterilant has penetrated to the point of placement in the pack and confirm that sufficient exposure conditions have occurred.

Chemical indicators are used for pack control which verifies that the sterilant has penetrated to the point of placement in the pack and confirms that sufficient exposure conditions have been met.

3M™ Comply™ 1250 Steam Chemical Indicator Strips

A Class 4 multi-parameter chemical indicator (measures time, temperature and saturated steam) printed with a long strip of indicator ink for a wide area of monitoring in the pack. The chemical indicator goes from a gradual, distinct off-white to dark brown/black color change and has a color reference standard. The strip can be separated easily at the perforation mark to convert to a short strip. This chemical indicator monitors all 250-272°F/121-134°C gravity and dynamic-air removal (i.e., vacuum-assisted on steam flush pressure pulse) steam sterilization cycles.

3M™ Comply™ 1251 EO Chemical Indicator Strips

A Class 5 Integrating Indicator (measures EO concentration, time, temperature and relative humidity) printed with a long strip of indicator ink for a wide area of monitoring in the pack. The chemical indicator color change is a gradual, distinct red to green color change. The strip can be separated easily at the perforation mark to convert to a short strip. This internal chemical indicator strip monitors exposure to all conditions of EO inside packs 100% EO and EO/HCFC sterilizer cycles.
