April 1999 CDC Guidelines recommend that if hair removal is required, the use of a surgical clipper immediately before an operation is one means to help reduce the risk of surgical site infections.
Removes all types of head and body hair, wet or dry, to allow for standardization on one product for all hair removal needs. Unique design allows flexibility of clipping with either a pushing or a pulling motion. The cutting blade is on top of the stationary blade, away from the skin, so there's minimal risk of nicks or cuts. Single-use blades help reduce the risk of cross-contamination and are easy to snap on for use and pop off for disposal. Rechargeable clipper has a nickel metal hydride battery, allowing multiple patients to be clipped from a single 12-14 hour recharge. Unique design is easy to clean and disinfect, wipe with a disinfectant or rinse under running water. |
