3M™ Surgical Clippers by Remington and Clipper Blade Assembly

Rechargeable and corded surgical clippers for removing body hair from patients in preparation for surgery or other procedures requiring hair removal. Both models use disposable, single-use blade assemblies.

Use of a surgical clipper is recommended by AORN, APIC, CDC, and ACS as a preferred method of hair removal to help reduce the risk of surgical site infection.

Introduced in 1986, this was the first surgical clipper with a single-use blade. Available in either a rechargeable (9602) or cord-operated (9603) model, these clippers utilize a single-use blade assembly and are designed to reduce skin trauma associated with conventional razor use.

April 1999 CDC Guidelines recommend that if hair removal is required, the use of a surgical clipper immediately before an operation is one means to help reduce the risk of surgical site infections.

Effectively clips all types of body hair to eliminate the need for multiple-style clippers for body hair removal.

Rechargeable model provides approximately 20 minutes of run time from an 8-hour recharge, or 30-40 minutes of run time from a 12-14 hour recharge, allowing you to clip multiple patients from a single charge.

Corded model provides continuous operation for longer preps and is a dependable backup for the rechargeable clipper.

Single-use blades help reduce the risk of cross-contamination and are easy to snap on for use and pop off for disposal.
