Benefits |
|
Highly fluid- and splash-resistant; passes ASTM’s highest level of protection (160 mmHg).
The 1835FS is equipped with an anti-fog-coated face shield and black strip over nose to help reduce glare on face shield. Flat with bi-directional pleats and vertical ties. Filtration efficiency: BFE{1} = >99%, PFE{2} = >99%. Latex free. {1} - Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE) determined by in vitro test method. {2} - Particle Challenge Study - measures filter efficiency only against mass median aerodynamic diameter particle. Surgical mask tests were conducted by an independent laboratory following a 3M internal protocol and using a 0.1 micron latex sphere at a flow rate of 28.3 liters per minute. PFE test results are provided for comparing performance of surgical masks under similar laboratory conditions. This does not reflect expected levels of filtration efficiency in actual use conditions nor replace the need to use NIOSH certified respirators if exposed to hazardous airborne contaminants. |
