3M™ Supplied Air Hoses W-9435

A recent random audit indicated that some of the 3M™ Supplied Air Hoses W-9435 produced on March 17, 2004 were released without a thread sealant applied to the threads at the point where the quick-disconnect fitting attaches to the hose connector. This resulted in a small amount of air leakage at the point of connection. 3M is requesting that users of supplied air hoses W-9435 perform the inspection and corrective action procedures as listed in the 3M™ Supplied Air Hoses W-9435 advisory notice.

A recent 3M internal audit indicated that certain packages of faceseals, 3M™ Faceseal 527-01-15R10, Tychem® QC and 3M™ Faceseal 527-01-19R10, Sontara®, are labeled "Made of Latex Free Components."
