3M™ Risk Manager Software
Manage the risk of incidents and accidents in your healthcare setting
3M Risk Manager Software is a wide-ranging, web-based assessment solution for risks associated with patient care events, employee health, and patient relations across an enterprise. It provides streamlined occurrence reporting, updating and analysis, and summary and detailed reporting. With 3M Risk Manager, facilities can implement a consistent, hospital-wide method for tracking risk exposures and improving patient safety.
Features and benefits
Comprehensive, efficient occurrence reporting
3M Risk Manager Software provides a comprehensive selection of occurrence reporting forms in standard categories such as patient falls and medication errors. It can help reduce duplicate work by combining occurrence reports into a single case file to provide risk managers and legal staff with a comprehensive view of the event—available online for convenience. The software also supports compliance with the ability to submit reports electronically to state health agencies where mandated.
Worklists can be defined by site, providing the ability to present occurrences, cases, follow-up requests, notifications, claims and litigation records that require action as specified by the user.
An electronic paper trail
3M Risk Manager Software provides an electronic log, tracking risk-related occurrences, documenting follow-up actions and assigning security levels. It also tracks payments and reserves.
Secure and private
The software allows only appropriate access to sensitive data through robust security features, such as hospital-defined access levels and assignments, role-based access, audit trail capabilities, and individual user ID and password logon.
