3M™ Ambulatory Revenue Management Software
Discover hidden outpatient revenue
3M has helped many hospitals discover lost revenue opportunities — and we can do the same for you. The 3M Ambulatory Revenue Management Software (ARMS) can help your hospital reduce payment denials and rework. Its tools can help you submit accurate outpatient claims the first time.
What you can’t see can hurt you
When trying to improve your bottom line, it’s the things you can’t see that can hurt you. 3M ARMS reveals gaps in your revenue cycle where money can fall through the cracks. This outpatient data management solution can help facilities:
- Improve the throughput of accurate claims data to help decrease back-end correction times, write-offs, and A/R days
- Reduce DNFB days by facilitating workflow changes designed to help you achieve a clean claim the first time
- Measure and monitor changes in the revenue cycle process, validating medical necessity, and capturing codes from health information management (HIM), chargemaster, claim, and remittance advice
3M ARMS merges coded data from the chargemaster, health information management (HIM) department, UB-04, and remittance advice with industry-standard and 3M-proprietary edits into a central database. The software enables you to measure and analyze front-end data to help improve process control at critical points in an organization’s outpatient workflow, from the physician office to patient access, point-of-service, HIM, and billing.
3M ARMS uses pre-bill data, post-scrubbed bills, and remittance advice data so you can monitor data accuracy, validate medical necessity, and audit for compliance purposes throughout the entire revenue cycle. The software can be used in a full range of ambulatory care settings, including same-day surgery units, hospital emergency rooms, and hospital-based outpatient clinics.
