Denon Project Denon began in 1910 as a manufacturer of gramophones and single-sided records. Today Denon is a leading manufacturer of professional and consumer entertainment products, especially driving the market in the hot home cinema market. Currently, its production process is guided by a basic policy of localisation. Recently the company merged on the operational and R & D front with Marantz, a specialised audio-visual technology leader in high-end early adapter products such as completely cordless technology. The newly merged company has approximately 30% of the global market share of the premium audio-visual market.
