3M™ HL High Luminance Light Fiber Specifications and Dimensions

3M™ HL High Luminance Light Fiber is available in 12mm and 7mm core diameter sizes. The 12 mm diameter light fiber is available in four standard lengths: 10‚ 20‚ 60 and 200 meters. The 7mm light fiber is available in 200 meter lengths. Both products can easily be cut to match your specific requirements.

Minimum-bend radius specifications are listed below. 3M™ doesn’t recommend a radius smaller than those shown‚ as a tighter radius will result in a bright spot at the bend. Both core sizes perform best when used in straight runs or with gentle bends. Yet‚ 7mm light fiber lends itself better to achieving tighter bend radii. Because the diameter of the 7mm HL light fiber is so small‚ up to seven fibers can fit into one traditional fiber optic illuminator.
