3M announces that its 3M™ Piezo Inkjet Ink Series 5400UV‚ designed and approved for use with ColorSpan® 5400UV series printers‚ are available exclusively from MacDermid Colorspan and its network of authorized resellers and distributors.
Optimized for use with 3M graphic media and the ColorSpan 5400UV series printers‚ 3M™ Piezo Inkjet Series 5400UV is durable‚ highly flexible and conformable‚ allowing for application even on complex contours‚ rivets and corrugations. UV-curable ink technology eliminates the need for solvent drying‚ produces lower VOC levels and allows for immediate use of printed graphics.
Applications include fleet and vehicle graphics‚ indoor and outdoor signs‚ banners and flexible sign faces.
Ink series 5400UV is available in standard CMYK colors‚ plus Light Cyan and Light Magenta‚ offering a wide color gamut with easy-to-obtain custom and industry standard colors.
Backed by the 3M™ MCS™ Warranty‚ finished graphics using ink series 5400 UV inks may be warranted for up to five years of outdoor use.
