3M™ Border Management System is a new software architecture developed by 3M-AiT, Ltd. and is based on standard Internet technologies and open standards such as XML, XSLT and Java. It uses a thin-client user interface providing a powerful and flexible infrastructure for handling transactions involving complex workflow. The result is a scalable, flexible and secure solution to access personal ID information.
3M™ Border Management System enables automatic identification of travellers who appear on national or international alert lists, and allows you to more easily track the movement of travellers in and out of the country. Increased security, enhanced facilitation of travellers and improved consistency of operations are key benefits of the 3M™ Border Management System.
