3M™ SC Series Stem Connectors feature an aluminum barrel for installations on either copper or aluminum cable conductors and are used when connecting a riser cable to an overhead line.

3M™ Stem Connector SC0001, up to 35 kV, 2, 1 AWG

This connector has a 2 & 1 Size Description and a 0.257 inch stem diameter.

3M™ Stem Connector SC0002, 4 AWG

This connector has a 2 Size Description and a 0.257 inch stem diameter.

3M™ Stem Connector SC0010, up to 35 kV, 1/0 AWG

This connector has a 1/0 Size Description and a 0.257 inch stem diameter.

3M™ Stem Connector SC0020, up to 35 kV, 2/0 AWG Stranded, 3/0 AWG Solid

This connector has a 2/0 Size Description and a 0.325 inch stem diameter.

3M™ Stem Connector SC0030, up to 35 kV, 3/0 Stranded, 4/0 Solid

This connector has a 3/0 Size Description and a 0.325 inch stem diameter.

3M™ Stem Connector SC0040, up to 35 kV, 4/0 AWG

This connector has a 4/0 Size Description and a 0.325 inch stem diameter.

The SC Series connectors are also used when terminating an insulated power cable with 3M™ terminations. The SC Series connector is provided with a factory crimped and sealed copper stem for aerial line connection.
