3/4 inch x 50 yds (1,9cm x 55m) Comply 1228 is an external chemical indicator tape that gives the sterilizer operator assurance that each pack or item has been exposed to the sterilization process.

3M™ Comply™ Gas Plasma Indicator Tape 1228

An exposure monitor that securely seals packs. For use in STERRAD® Sterilization Processes (Models 50, 100S and 100) Indicator changes from blue to pink when exposed to vaporized hydrogen peroxide.

3M™ Comply™ 1228 Indicator Tape consists of a non-cellulosic plastic backing material with a pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side and indicator stripes on the other side. The chemical indicator stripes turn from blue to pink after exposure to vapor hydrogen peroxide in the STERRAD® sterilization processes (models 50, 100 and 100S). The STERRAD® sterilization process is a combination of vapor hydrogen peroxide and plasma commonly referred to as gas plasma.
