3M™ Avagard™ (Chlorhexidine Gluconate 1% Solution and Ethyl Alcohol 61% w/w) Surgical and Healthcare Personnel Hand Antiseptic with Moisturizers

Avagard antiseptic hand prep is designed to replace water-aided antimicrobial hand scrub brushes and antimicrobial soaps. The scrubless, waterless way to prepare hands for surgery, it's fast-acting and effective, providing proven, persistent antimicrobial protection for up to six hours without water or scrubbing. Avagard hand antiseptic product has obtained FDA NDA approval, which includes a complete review by FDA of all safety and efficacy data.

Avagard antiseptic hand prep provides rapid antimicrobial kill of a broad spectrum of microorganisms, including antibiotic-resistant strains, with greater than 99% microbial kill in 15 seconds{1}((ital)in vitro*(/ital)). In human testing set forth by the FDA, Avagard antiseptic hand prep surpasses FDA criteria for surgical scrub formulations at all measured time points.

Avagard antiseptic hand prep is also uniquely formulated to maintain and protect the condition of your skin. An advanced, emollient-rich lotion base helps prevent dry, cracked hands, while protecting and maintaining skin barrier integrity.

A 500mL dispenser bottle fits in a foot-activated bracket for use in the operating room and a hand-activated bracket when used in the ICU or non-surgical area.
