3M Flemington's manufacturing facility is a member of the 3M Medical Division within our Health Care business. The plant, formerly known as PyMaH Corporation, was founded in 1969 to manufacture a more accurate blood pressure cuff. Over the years the company added plants in Somerville, New Jersey; Athy, Ireland; Fairfield, New Jersey; and North Hollywood, California. At the same time the company expanded its' product line to include single-use clinical thermometers, sterilization integrators and some industrial products.
On October 1st, 1996 PyMaH was acquired by 3M. Today, the Flemington plant is a 204,000 square foot facility with approximately 130 regular employees.
